~ The Basics of Him

Name: Aeter
Name Meaning: Shortened version of ‘aeternam’, meaning ‘eternal’ in Latin.
Gender: Male
Age: Two and a half years
Position: Councilman of the Golden Gate, formerly a Jikuu Ryokou
Residence: Aeter was born and raised in the Golden Gate Paradox, but since becoming a Councilman he technically resides in the Land Between Time. He considers the Golden Gate his home.
Amulet: Aeter’s amulet is like a large bracelet around his neck. It is mainly black, and the edges are golden. His symbol is the Ouroboros, a snake eating its own tail. It symbolizes eternity The Ouroboros is gold and silver - it glows when Aeter Time Jumps.

~ Indepth

]u]Appearance:[/u] Aeter is of an average size for a wolf his age, with no outstanding physical features. His fur is ‘grizzled’, meaning it is a mix of different shades of black and gray. Around his neck and face there are also brown markings. His muzzle is white and he has nondescript green eyes.

Personality: Aeter has been described as soft, because of his upbringing in the Golden Gate. He is very accustomed to his peaceful life, and enjoys it. He isn’t particularly adaptable, but is brave enough to do what needs to be done. Aeter is soft-spoken, patient and kind, though he does get to the point. His memory is also exceptional - he will remember both kindnesses paid to him and rude remarks, thus knowing who to hold a grudge against. He won’t hesitate to hold a grudge, and believes in ‘fairness’ - making things even. When Aeter makes decisions, he will stand by them. He will not abandon a friend in need, but won’t hesitate to change his thoughts of someone. But he cares strongly for his friends and will defend them until the end.

Strengths: Aeter has a happy aura, and is good at making friends. He has been described as ‘easy to trust’ and ‘persuasive’. Aeter also has a talent for reading others - mostly he just calls it their aura, like their current feelings.

Weaknesses: Aeter is a little soft from his upbringing. He isn’t necessarily ready for the troubles of Symphony and Valkin - he may stumble through it, but he’ll try his best. His grudges also can be a negative - he wants to pay them back.

History: Aeter used to lie about his past. He didn’t want to share. But meeting Adalia has helped him to come to terms with it. Aeter’s parents, Laul and Intuir, were from separate Paradoxes. They weren’t supposed to love, let alone have pups. Laul came from the Golden Gate and Intuir came from Symphony. After Aeter and his sister, Emma, were born, Laul and Intuir continued to hide the secret. Ema died soon after birth, leaving Aeter an only pup. When Aeter was one year old, an ambitious wolf named Vale discovered the secret. He turned them in - but there was no denying what had happened. Aeter was proof. Laul and Intuir were to be confined to their home paradoxes, and there was no decision on anything to happen to Aeter.

A month after, Intuir was killed in the Symphony Paradox. Laul was permitted to come, and scented Vale’s smell there. She confronted him - Vale confessed that he had murdered Intuir, and then murdered Laul. He then accused Aeter in the death of his mother. The Golden Gate was broken for awhile - some thought Aeter guilty, others believed his innocence. After much deliberation, Aeter was declared innocent. Aeter discovered Vale’s hand in it all, and confronted him angrily. They never saw each other again.

Since, Aeter has been accepted, or at least on the surface. He has met Adalia, and others. His life has finally come into place.
