Adalia is a very kind and easy going wolf. She lacks self confidence though others try to reassure her. She makes friends very easily as most usually feel a kind aura when around her. She loves to be around others. Adalia has great patience good for when it comes for waiting for something, although if one of her friends or pack mates are getting picked on she'll rush to their defense even if she doesn't like them. She will risk herself for anyone and everyone in her pack. She is easy to trust and reliable and will sit and listen to anything that's wrong. Whether it takes two sunrises or a few heartbeats she's all ears. She is often found watching nature amazed. Though she has the stubbornness and thirst for revenge as any Valkin wolf. Her personality is very tipped, very opposite depending on her environment. While she is very calm and easy to love, Adalia has a very sharp temper, when she snaps that's it- you better run for it.
Adalia has an average build, though she has a very fluffy tail. She has slim legs that help with running. She has one Grey eye and one dull amber. She has one scar that wraps around her neck. Around her neck she wears her amulet snugly around her neck. Adalia is a sub-species of wolves known as the Manitoba Wolf (Canis lupus griseoalbus).
Adalia was born into the pack by two wolves who were madly in love. Aiyana, her mother, was the daughter of a noble and one of the originals. She was a loyal wolf to Golden Gate. However, despite her loyalties her heart journeyed too far over the border lines. She fell in love with Adahy, a male from Valkin. The two wolves mirrored each other, so maybe that's just what drew the two together. Aiyana and Adahy saw each other every nightfall in the outskirts of the Land Between Time. They met below a single palm at the ocean side. The two knew the risks and costs that would come with seeing each other, yet they continued.
At the time there was a large battle going on between the two paradoxes. Despite being bound in the same pack, there was- in older times- constant feuds between the groups. It was just so at this time that one was occurring. There was a huge controversy going on about "impure mixed paradox pups" also referred to as "Paradox Mutts". They were highly looked down upon and were considered a disgrace to the originals' names. While Golden Gate agreed with Valkin on the aspect of it being wrong and, so to say, an act of defiance towards the pack, they didn't agree that death and banishment was the solution. Some wolves said a paradox pup was a paradox pup no matter their roots, it wasn't something they could control. Others said that they should kill the impure pups to keep the roots of the pack pure. Soon the battle grew so out of hand and spread to the pack officials and even Symphony paradox. Within seasons the whole pack was gathered in groups, mother turned on daughter, father on son, and brother on brother. Friends and mates became strangers and enemies. The pack was a wreck.
It was in this fallout time that the last known litter of "impure" pups were born. They were brought into the world by none other than Aiyana and Adahy. The two love birds had fled the battle- more respectfully war zone, and fled the land. They wanted a place to safely nurse, and raise their pups. Within the first moon of being separated from the pack Aiyana gave birth to three beautiful young pups; two females and one male. With agreement of Adahy, she named the male- the largest pup- Taka. He was born the largest in size and in weight, and was the first of the three to open their eyes. The second pup- the runt of the litter- was named Ahawi. She was born very small and quite sickly. The last pup that was born was only slightly larger than her sister, she was named Adalia. And so, this is how Adalia's life began.
Life was well outside the pack for Adalia. Her and Taka were always setting out on adventures, often too far from the den, causing non-stop mischief of course. They were born into a land often known as the Unknown because of the fact that it's unexplored by the pack members thus it was a safe spot to raise the young pups. While Adalia and Taka continued to flourish and grow, Ahawi only seemed to get weaker and more sickly. When the first frost-fall (winter) came around- at the age of 5 months- Ahawi fell victim to a cough and became even more sickly. The winter was hard and it became nearly impossible to feed and properly nourish the three young pups.
Taking advantage of this situation a wolf who was rival of Adahy decided to ambush the den of the queen and the young wolves. This wolf went by the name of Hayes. He was a former rival of the father of Adalia, Adahy. The two shared a hatred only known to the two. In their already weak and vulnerable state, the family stood no chance. Not about to give in, Aiyana and Adahy took their last breath's in the attack. Ahawi was too weak to continue onward without her mother so she wasn't able to escape. Although, Adalia and Taka were able to flee; not without many scrapes and future scars however.
The Time Paradox Pack had somehow mended itself together as all cases of "Paradox mutts" were "taken care of". A kind Golden Gate wolf found the two pups wandering through the snow at the border and took the two in. She went by the name of Asaki. Her and her mate, Ahanu, had lost their pups to the frost and decided to raise the two. Taka and Adalia at this point in their lives were inseparable. Whatever one pup did the other followed along. It didn't take long, however, for Asaki and Ahanu to put the pieces together and discover who the stray pups' parents were. They had two of the most despised mutts in the pack. They were born to opposite wolves so there was much danger to come from them.
One day while Taka and Adalia were pupils, Taka training to be an Avci, and Adalia to be a shaman, Taka was seriously injured. While he and the hunting party were stalking an elk herd, a large bird swooped down. It was an eagle. It dove down and grasped at Taka. He was grabbed by the neck and suffered a slow, painful death. The other hunters from the party leaped at the eagle, evading it's talons to the best of their ability and tried to save the young wolf. He was dropped but by that time it was too late... The head of Golden Gate sent out a patrol in search of the eagle to take it down, and that night a vigil was held so pack members could mourn. Adalia on the other hand, happened to be in the meadows on the other side of the paradox the day that occurred so she knew nothing of it until a sunrise later.
As a result of her brother's death she fell mute. She wasn't the same cheerful, peppy and spirited apprentice as before. Adalia became very secluded from the rest of the pupil's and pack members. She even started drifting apart from Ahanu and Asaki. Slowly but surely, Adalia found herself sinking into a pit of sadness but she started to emerge with time and she would constantly wander off. She decided rather than mope she would be strong spirited to make up for all the lost happiness of Taka.
One day while Adalia was wandering exploring her amulet's newly founded power she arrived at the tower of time. She heard her name a few times and then the words "opposite mutt". Confused, she confronted her 'parents'. She had nearly forgotten her other life, but all the memories came rushing back- Hayes, the attack, everything. Asaki denied everything but she persevered. Asaki then snapped and told her the truth, she said she was as worthless and the result of traitorous actions and that she was best to leave before she destroyed the pack any farther. So tempted, she reluctantly stayed- she wanted to prove she was different... and that she did.
Adalia met a wolf that finally understood her, Aeter, and she quickly fell in love with the male. She made newly found friends and she realized something- if she left nothing would be the same. And if her parents never broke the rules, she wouldn't be here... so in the end the whole story pieced together. So how does it end? Guess we'll have to find out...
